The facility handled six clients under one roof with shared racking, and a full physical count meant halting outbound for four days every month.
We implemented zone-based perpetual counting with ABC velocity classes, so high-movement locations are counted weekly and slow-movers quarterly. Counts run alongside normal operations using spare RF capacity between pick waves.
The monthly shutdown was eliminated in the first quarter, and client-wise stock disputes fell because each client's variance is now visible in near real time.
